New Shoes

Mommy got me some new Nike shoes today so I can start training for my first Diaper Dash. We went out today to start training. I like my new Nikes a lot and I think I'll be able to do a 50 yard dash in a couple of months. There's one tomorrow, but Mommy and Daddy said it's too soon. I need to learn to go straight and not be distracted by every little thing on the ground.... the leaves, bugs, twigs, bark, weeds, etc. It's all so interesting to me though!!

More Swimming

Hello!!!

As you know, Saturdays are busy for me. This Saturday, my regular swimming lessons with Nova were cancelled because of the holiday, so Mommy gave me the lesson instead. I think Mommy is a better teacher anyway.

Daddy went to San Diego in the afternoon to meet his cousin for dinner, so me and Mommy went to open gym time at Gymboree where I "wowed" everyone with my walking skills. I love chasing balls and kicking them around. I also love the tunnels.

After class, I fell asleep in the car, so Mommy drove around for while measuring bike and run courses. She said something about a duathlon next weekend, but I don't know what that is.

I woke up when we got home, so I had some snacks and watched the Giro d'Italia with Mommy. I ran around a lot too and pulled lots of toilet paper off the roll. I love doing that!

My Busy Day

Today was a very busy day for me. It started off with my swimming lesson at Nova Swim School. I didn't have much fun there today because I had a substitute teacher and I had never met her before. She was real nice and a good teacher, but I still fussed a lot and looked for Mommy to come save me. Since I didn't get off to a good start with my lesson, Mommy and Daddy decided not to torture me by putting me through the group class too. We just played and did a little skills practice on our own once I was feeling up to it. Did I mention that sometimes all the fussing and water in my mouth give me a tummy ache and I spit up in the pool? Next was Gymboree class. I moved up a level because I'm a big girl now and I can walk. There are a lot more babies in this new class, and we are all into everything. It's quite a bit more chaotic than my other class. I was tired when I got there, and really tired by the time I left. In fact, I was so tired that I fell asleep as soon as Mommy started driving home. It's Friday!

Yay, it's Friday, and that means I get to spend all weekend with Mommy and Daddy! We have a big day planned tomorrow: swimming lesson, group swim class, Gymboree class, Gymboree "free time", and then my pal Charlie's birthday party! I will have to squeeze a nap in there somewhere so I can do it all! I am sure to have some good photos and videos to post after all that. For now, here are some pictures of me in my backyard and some videos of my stellar walking skills.

Here's a little peek at what I do before bed each night. Mommy calls it the "I'm gonna get you!!!" game. I have lots of fun and I giggle a lot!

My Busy Saturdays

Saturdays are busy for me. I have my swimming lesson in the morning, followed by a 30 minute group swim class. I like swimming, but sometimes it's hard. Mommy says you have to train hard if you want to be good at it though!

After a short break -- lunch at Ruby's -- I go to my Gymboree class. I love it and I am all over and into everything! The teacher at Gymboree says I need to go to the next level class since I'm so advanced and strong, really!
